Experience a millenary healing technique
Thai massage is a traditional therapy that combines acupressure techniques, stretching and passive yoga movements to balance the circulation of vital energy and release possible existing blockages. Unlike other types of massage, it is done in a futon on the floor and the receiver remains dressed in comfortable clothes. During the session, the therapist uses his hands, elbows, knees and feet to apply pressure and stretch.
It is believed that this important legacy has been influenced by several sources, which were integrated with the practices and wisdom already existing in Thailand. It has an influence of India, Yoga and what would later become Ayurveda; from China, and what would later become the traditional Chinese medicine; and Buddhism, among others. The Buddhist monastic community traveled from India to other Asian countries to spread the Dharma, integrating its practice with the traditional medicines of each area or country.
